If you would like to order prints either follow the instructions which appear below or simply contact me direct (through the contact page above).
Printing is done by professional printers associated with theimagefile.com (who host my site). The printers are known as photobox. If you order through this website delivery is usually within 48 hours. There is a secure on-line order form handled by theimagefile.com.
Because the format of the picture is not always the same as the format of the print, final prints may end up "cropped". Look out for the red lines when ordering. When you are in your 'shopping basket', if you click on the print with the red lines, you will then get that individual picture with red lines which can be moved up/down or left/right - once you've done this once you can then use free-style cropping (ie you can move the red lines around freely - press and hold button as you move th red box). This will make more sense when you are going through the ordering process. Don't be afraid to play around - for example, you can go in and out of the 'shopping basket' as it will remember your order.
Most of the images here are in three shapes: square, 'fat' rectangle and 'thin' rectangle. For square pictures, 5x5 inches or 8x8 inches are good choices for your print. The 'fat' rectangle usually fits 10x8 inches and the 'thin' one will fit A4 and up (A3, A2 etc as well as 5x7 with a bit of cropping). But as I said, feel free to experiment with sizes etc.
The matt finish works better with larger prints (A4 or 8x10 and bigger). For smaller prints, gloss is better.
You will be reminded about this during the ordering process, but always make sure you have saved your final choices before moving away from an editing page (I recommend you save changes after each change you make) - and take extra care if you are ticking boxes to change your choices for more than one picture at a time as any further changes will be made to all ticked pictures! As a general rule, I recommend making changes to pictures individually by clicking the file name rather than using the tick-boxes (again, this should make more sense when you are making your order).
If this all sounds too technical, feel free simply to get in touch with me direct and I will make the order for you. This process will obviously take a little longer than ordering directly. Depending on how many orders I have, you may have to make a contribution to P&P.
